Our client, a leading local insurance broker specialising in business insurance across a broad range of industries and occupations, is seeking a motivated and reliable Administration Assistant to join their Darwin team. They will provide full training and a comprehensive onboarding program to support your transition into the role and ensure your success. About Your New Role

As an Administration Assistant you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to Portfolio Managers and the Team Leader. Your role includes managing quotations, cover notes, new business, endorsements, and renewals, while maintaining an efficient workflow.

  • Provide administrative support to the Team Leader and portfolio managers
  • Process broking tasks including quotations, cover notes, new business, endorsements and renewals
  • Deliver high level customer service and manage telephone enquiries
  • Record and Manage all client requests using CRM system
  • Drive new business and cross sell insurance products
  • Negotiate renewals to meet branch retention targets
  • Be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks
  • Take on training to attain your tier 2 broker qualification

What You Will Need

  • Tier 2 Broking qualification(or willingness to obtain within six months)
  • 2 year experience in administration support role or insurance industry
  • Basic knowledge of commercial insurance products is desirable
  • A strong customer focus and the ability to create rapport with customers
